I grew up in South Australia and I studied voice at the Elder Conservatorium of Music in Adelaide and at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne. While resident in the UK, I received scholarships from Richard Bonynge and the Tait Memorial Trust to assist with further vocal studies in London.
My opera performances include the roles La Sorella Infermeria Sour Angelica, Peep Bo Mikado, Le Feu Enfant et le Sortilège, Cathleen in the World Premiere of Riders to the Sea by Fritz Hart, Anne Trulove The Rake’s Progress, Belinda Dido and Aeneas, Olympia in The Tales of Hoffmann, The Queen of the Night The Magic Flute, and Musetta La Boheme.
In concert I have preformed Creation Hayden, Messiah Handel, Hertzgewäsche Schoenberg, as Evelyn Schwergewicht Krenek, Requiem Mozart, Symphony of Sorrowful Songs Górecki and C minor Mass Mozart.
I have appeared as soloist in performances at Kings College Cambridge, St Martin in the Fields and under the baton of Maestro Richard Bonynge in the presence of HRH The Prince of Wales. I have also appeared as a feature article on the 7:30 report ABC television.
